Course specification

INTENDED PARTICIPANT: Workplace beach Safety

MAX CLASS SIZE: 10-15 Candidates

COURSE DURATION: 5 day / 40 hours

ASSESSMENT: Continuous by Instructor

CERTIFICATE EXPIRY: 2 years from date of completion.

Learning Style

The objective of this course is to provide the individual with the knowledge and skills
designed to save other’s life as well as his own life in the event of an emergency at the
beach or any aquatic facility.
Students must be made aware of the importance of extending their reach as a first step in carrying out a
rescue. Although the development of lifesaving is important, this will help the student become highly
skilled individual with a positive attitude towards safety while in or about the water.
